Merel Maan Galama is an artist, curator and writer who is born on a piece of soil that is called the Netherlands, now based in Berlin. Galama’s works move between research, writing, analog photography, and film. The assemblages springing from these artistic practices merge intimate encounters with broader socio-ecological questions.  Within these assemblages, listening unfolds as a practice through which contextual and non-hierarchical forms of coexistence are unearthed in site-specific imaginaries.
